Ostia was the ancient harbour city of Rome, at the mouth of the Tiber river. All goods needed in Rome arrived here from overseas.
The city was excavated in 1900s and it is pretty much still all standing. We will experience everyday life in ancient Roman times walking on ancient streets and into Roman baths, shops, temples, restaurants, private apartments, bakeries. It’s a lot like Pompeii, but closer.
